This paves a new path in the field of cultural entrepreneurship.Īs the Chapter's first initiative, on behalf of the team, I am delighted to share that we are hosting a 'Networking & Experience Sharing Session' at the Crafts Council of Telangana, Hyderabad on Saturday, 25th March! If this is something that fits your profile and are interested in, please register here: Telangana State Innovation Cell, NICEorg - Network of Indian Cultural Enterprises, Shanta Thoutam, Ph.D. It started with Cultural Entrepreneurship Day on January 11th and through a series of conversations with Sanjay, Kanchana and the team at NICEorg, we were able to come up with the first Chapter in Hyderabad. You can find it on the Mac App Store for free.Thrilled and excited to be a part of the NICEorg Ecosystem with NICEorg Hyderabad Chapter, alongside some amazing people - Akhilesh Washikar, Krishnagopal GV, Siva Devireddy, Vishala Reddy Vuyyala. It’s compatible with plugins and has standard IRC features like file sharing, multiple server connection, and nick completion. Braun recommended another Mac IRC client called XChat Azure. But that’s entirely a personal choice, and maybe you’ll like LimeChat better than I did. But if you need an app on macOS and iOS, then I recommend Colloquy. If you need a Mac IRC client but don’t really need it on iOS, then I recommend Textual. Textual is great to use, but it lacks an iOS app. However, I had no problem using Textual and Colloquy. I’ve never used IRC before, so that’s more of a ding on me, and not necessarily reflective of LimeChat. My Thoughtsįor some reason, I had trouble using LimeChat. Colloquy is free on macOS, and US$1.99 on iOS. Impact of LimeChat’s Conversational Commerce Suite 70 Reduced Support Cost 10X Faster Resolution Time 200 Higher agent-assisted sales One Helpdesk for all Channels Centralize all your support tickets from WhatsApp, Email, Instagram Comments & DMs, FB Messenger, Live Chat onto one dashboard for seamless ticket management. There is also an iOS app, which was more recently updated as of three months ago, so it’s not abandonware. The Mac app hasn’t been updated since 2014, but I had no problems using it on macOS High Sierra. Not only IRC, it also supports SILC and ICB. Generally, its additional files, such as preference files and application support files, still remains on the hard drive after you delete LimeChat 2.42 from. Although it’s a lightweight program, you can extend it with plug-ins, and it also works with AppleScript. ColloquyĬolloquy is a Mac IRC client that has been around forever. Textual costs US$7.99, and there is no iOS app. Plus, it was built with privacy in mind, and has features like Off-the-Record messaging. It has a clean, simple interface, and that makes it great for both beginners and pros. Textual is a native Mac IRC client, so it takes full advantage of macOS features like the Notification Center. LimeChat is free on macOS, but the iOS app costs US$4.99. It’s a small, lightweight program and has features like sending files, auto-join channels on startup, and SSL authorization. This might make it a little confusing to use, so I don’t recommend this for people who have never used IRC before. It’s fast and lightweight, and it has a console-like interface. Channels can be public or private, and multiple people can join. An IRC client is a program you install that lets you join IRC channels. Internet Relay Chat (IRC) is an application layer protocol that lets people communicate over the web with text. Internet Relay Chatįirst, a little background. I’ll share the apps I found as well as my thoughts. I found myself in need of a Mac IRC client recently, so I spent a couple of days trying out different ones.

They end up choosing to imprison him for the rest of his life, roughly three years given his nerve damage, rather than execute him outright. This is further utilized during the November Reigns ending if you give him a trial the citizenry find his actions intolerable, but also find he did it for Colorado's greater good. The issue seems to be that he has good intentions, but his pride and atrocities weigh against seeing him as a hero for many. Even when it escalated into a slaughter- and in his defense, he did NOT order that attack- his only response was to tell Wesson to make sure there would be no witnesses. Others argue that this ignores the fact that he willingly gave up his people to the Godfishers to be used as slaves and human sacrifices and the entire reason the Dorseys became what they are is because they argued for democracy and he sent Percival Wesson to intimidate them into silence. Many consider the Patriarch to be, at worst, a benevolent dictator who did nothing wrong and simply made difficult choices for the good of his people and all of Colorado. Draco in Leather Pants: In and out of universe.Given that Pizepi, a recurring character from 2, and Vic himself are both companions who can join at Aspen (you know, when the game is almost finished), it seems like there may have been more intended to do between capturing him and then going after Liberty that was cut. While getting Valor involves dealing with the absurdities and fun of the Reagan-worshipping Gippers, and retrieving Victory involves saving hostages between massive firefights, Liberty's area is just a straight up slog of back-to-back fights with little in the way of story meat. Disappointing Last Level: Mostly a problem with Liberty Buchanan and the final area, Yuma County Speedway.Since DLC enemies only scale to your level, not your actual stats, this can lead to starving workers and mutant enemies with several thousand HP that can One-Hit Kill your characters in a single round. Difficulty Spike: Both DLC locations can suffer from this due to Level Scaling, depending on how updated your gear from the main story is when you handle them.Catharsis Factor: Getting the Golden Ending where all the bad guys are punished while Colorado and Arizona both get saved is next-to-impossible if you don't take the proper steps, but goddamn is it satisfying. For an original song, the busker in downtown Colorado will sing a very slow, melancholy oral tradition about the history of the Desert Rangers, including the plots of the first two games.A wonderful low-key melancholic acoustic arrangement of Wang Chung's "Everybody Have Fun Tonight", which plays at the Cannibal Jamboree.Really, anything arranged by Joe Hill for this game.Similarly, the cover of Joe Hill's "Power in a Union", which plays during the Battle of Steeltown DLC during two pivotal battles.A pumping cover of "Down by the River to Pray", which occurs when killing Isaac Reed for betraying Colorado or during the battle against Iridium and Deuterium during the Holy Detonation DLC.An incredibly intense, minor key version of the "Battle Hymn of the Republic" occurs at the end of a dungeon to free or possibly kill Ironclad Cordite.
In the sunny flower bed idea above, a purple, white and pink fusion was planted by Mandy Buckland of Greencube (opens in new tab). The secret to a successful long border is planting throughout the seasons. This is one of many backyard landscaping ideas for bigger gardens. Subtle lighting makes this garden atmospheric at night – key trees and pleached hornbeams are uplit while Cor-Ten steel posts, with a rusty finish, create low level lighting along the gravel paths. ‘The pleached central hedge cleverly divides the garden, but also allows views down into the shadier part of the garden where the owners have raised garden beds with vegetables and salads as well as a garden shed,’ adds Charlotte Rowe. In this project, a rethink of a garden resulted in two lawns separated by layers of box and hornbeam as well as pleached hornbeam trees, which is among the ideas for landscaping with evergreens. Dividing the space into garden rooms will ensure that green spaces have different purposes, such as a terrace area for eating or a patch for growing vegetables. ‘Over-large lawns can feel purpose-less,’ says designer Charlotte Rowe (opens in new tab). Pots on the terrace allow seasonal planting to be added throughout the year. 'Repeated spheres of Elaeagnus ebbingei, Hebe topiaria and Pittosporum tobira Nanum pull the areas of the terrace together while stunning multi-stem Koelreuteria paniculata trees allow views out into the wider landscape.’ ‘To maintain those views, patio planting across the terrace is predominantly low with swathes of colour from Lavandula angustifolia ‘Hidcote’, Rosmarinus ‘Tuscan Blue’ and Veronica umbrosa ‘Georgia Blue’,' says Claire Merriman of Claire Merriman Design (opens in new tab). In this total overhaul of an overgrown five acre site, central to the design is the large terrace area that sweeps around the house allowing views straight out from the kitchen and living room across colourful borders to the lake and wildflower meadow beyond. Think about how entertaining spaces can flow out from the house with seating areas and smart patio ideas. Designing a vista that you can enjoy just a step from your property is top of the garden ideas wish list. 1, 1946 - Wojtyla is ordained as a priest. 18, 1945 - Russian troops liberate Krakow from the Nazis. Burgos, like Wojtyla, seeks to avoid the symptomatic body-mind dualism of modern rationalist philosophy by conceiving of the person as an irreducible triplicity: body, mind, and - Karol Joseph Wojtyla is born in Wadowice, Poland. Based in Madrid, Burgos has developed what he terms a modern ontological personalism in which he rigorously unfolds the primacy of the category person for any and all philosophical thought about being. In the Spanish-speaking world, Wojtyla’s work has significantly influenced contemporary systematic personalist Juan Manuel Burgos. Humans therefore become alienated if they lose their relationship to, and engagement with, others. Humans are for Wojtyla an integrated whole that includes both soul and body and comes into existence within community and through intentional action. Wojtyla believes that the intellect precedes the emotions. He finds that Scheler stresses too much the emotional side of life at the cost of the active, will-governed subject. Wojtyla is deeply indebted to Scheler, however he does not follow him all the way. This dynamic flourishes under freedom and becomes impossible if the human person is employed as a means by impersonal forces. Wojtyla explores the theme in terms of humans coming into being through action and thereby entering an ethical life. It is in intentional acts that the person transcends him- or herself this theme is of paramount concern to Wojtyla, and with him all personalists. He rejects Descartes’ dichotomy of soul and body: “In fact, body and soul are inseparable: In the person, in the willing agent and in the deliberate act, they stand or fall together.” The fundamental question that Wojtyla attempts to answer in his work is: What is a human being? A basic theme for Wojtyla is the unity of the human person. The fact that Wojtyla developed an ethical personalism was to be of great consequence, as it became fundamental to his work as Pope, thereby also forming the philosophical basis for several decades of the Catholic Church’s influence on the world and on millions of people. Personalist ethics, on the other hand, are altruistic they move the person to become a gift to others to discover the joy of giving away oneself. ’According to Wojtyla, individualism is and remains egocentric and selfish. In the 2010s, the majority are interactive Web 2.0 websites, allowing visitors to leave online comments, and it is this interactivity that distinguishes them from other static websites. Previously, knowledge of such technologies as HTML and File Transfer Protocol had been required to publish content on the Web, and early Web users therefore tended to be hackers and computer enthusiasts. The emergence and growth of blogs in the late 1990s coincided with the advent of web publishing tools that facilitated the posting of content by non-technical users who did not have much experience with HTML or computer programming. Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. The rise of Twitter and other " microblogging" systems helps integrate MABs and single-author blogs into the news media. MABs from newspapers, other media outlets, universities, think tanks, advocacy groups, and similar institutions account for an increasing quantity of blog traffic. In the 2010s, "multi-author blogs" (MABs) emerged, featuring the writing of multiple authors and sometimes professionally edited. Until 2009, blogs were usually the work of a single individual, occasionally of a small group, and often covered a single subject or topic. Posts are typically displayed in reverse chronological order so that the most recent post appears first, at the top of the web page. For other uses, see Blog (disambiguation).Ī blog (a truncation of " weblog") is an informational website published on the World Wide Web consisting of discrete, often informal diary-style text entries (posts). As the cups progress, the difficulty will progress with you (unless you disable that feature and choose custom difficulty), and you will be required to purchase/upgrade your cars in order to compete. Completing said races grants you money to buy/upgrade new vehicles. There are 20 campaign mode challenge cups that each consist of an average of 4-5 races. Reckless Racing has PLENTY of content that should keep you busy for quite some time. Lastly, the inclusion of multiplayer challenges with your friends truly helps make the game more enjoyable. Some are difficult such as the hardest difficulty completion races, but still doable. There are achievements for multiplayer mode, arcade mode, challenge mode, and the main campaign, along with some surprise achievements sprinkled in for performing certain tasks. Some of the achievements are a little tough, but I like games that don’t provide just a straight story mode list. Strap down and prepare for the ride of your life. Summary: Strap down and prepare for the ride of your life. Although not bad by any stretch, the UI for some puzzle panels could've used more polish. I never found a happy medium in the options menu. feels a bit clunky on consoles thanks to stiff sensitivity. Trying to interact with levers, switches, etc. On top of game design, some minor elements harm engagement. Plus, it's implicitly encouraging to continue as this surrealist painting keeps growing – with various houses and more coming out of the ground. The considerations for pacing, environmental clues, and so on can be a headache for designers so, it's pleasant how these brainteasers continue feeling well-handled and diverse. Finding that sweet spot between 'welcoming' and 'difficult' is no small feat either. The beauty of its early puzzle design is exemplified by its first: little moves catenate into something more and more complex. You can still smell the roses, but it's not wise to perpetually dawdle. You see: The Devil's offer is baked into gameplay, so every in-game second is the same as the real world. Then, a gargantuan hand with a swinging pocket watch materializes, gently reminding you that time is of the essence. Within a succinct five minutes, you're given the necessary info and are freely sauntering about. One of Summertime's greatest successes is its opening hook: the painter's wretched reality & Joel Nilsson's coarse narration are contrasted by a grassy field and a pleasant breeze when he wakes up. Summertime Breeze Who wouldn't want to escape here? When God seems so distant and uninterested, who wouldn't accept a pleasant deal from The Devil? The catch? If he doesn't escape the canvas by midnight, his soul will be trapped there forever. One fateful night, a mysterious man materializes in his workspace and provides a unique opportunity: escape the horrid real world and venture into one of his own paintings. As the terrors of war worsen, as more buildings are shelled and more people killed, the harder he toils with his serene & colorful landscapes. Among the current survivors within its walls is a lowly, nameless painter staying in his apartment. Its greater potential is restrained by some uneven design, but it never felt uninteresting. The latter is the context for new Italian developer DP Games' first-person puzzler: Summertime Madness. It could just be an unprovoked yearning for unfettered adventure or a defense mechanism against one's dismal situation. Regardless of the creative medium, escaping into fiction is a draw for everyone at one time or another.
